I’ve had my 2013 Abarth from 64000 to 85000 miles. The driveshafts are wearing out and the shirt linkage is corroded. I’d say these are easily fixed problems and are not a big deal. I normally drive Hondas and wasn’t expecting the Fiat to be reliable but it’s been a fine car. It’s also a super fun car, imo. I love to drive my FIAT 500 Abarth, manual shift. The driving experience is smooth and responsive, visibility is unparalleled and the interior design is perfect: the dashboard is streamlined and Fiat 500 Abarth seats up to four passengers, gets from 24 to 28 miles per gallon in city roads, and 32 to 33 mpg on the highways. The standard 500 pressure plate is the issue and has nothing to do with hard driving, towing, etc. The fingers on the pressure plate bend, making it impossible to disengage the clutch. The 2012 Fiat 500 Abarth may be small -- smaller than even a Mini Cooper -- but it's a heavy car. With a curb weight of about 2500 pounds, the 500 Abarth isn't pound-heavy -- it's heritage-heavy. xlETtot.
