It seems that no matter what settings I adjust, pictures from the front camera on my XS Max look significantly worse than on my 8 Plus. The selfie camera pictures on the 8 Plus look sharper and more saturated. In comparison, the selfie camera pictures on my XS look grainier and have an almost watercolor quality smoothness to them.
The main camera is so much better than the 8 Plus’ camera. I definitely consider a second lens useless because the quality of the zoomed picture looks bad. The Xr is worth $50 more than the 8 Plus. The A12 chip is the best, might as well get it. It will be supported longer than the 8 Plus due to it’s newer design.
The two of them have good battery life, the camera of the XR is better, but 8 Plus have 2 cameras so you have optical zoom. XR faceid works way better then touchid, also the processor is faster and the phone is smaller. Dont get the old design iphones. Its time to mive forward in the future with the new design.
Eco System integrations are convenient so that’s to consider. Also, my friends and family are all Apple Sheep. One thing for sure is that I’m switching to T-Mobile. Promotions right now: -Free Pixel 8 and 8 Pro (no trade in required) -$20-$25 a month after the trade in for the iPhone 15 Pro/Max.
my mother has a brand new iphone 8 plus whereas i have the XR. the difference between the 8 and the 8 plus isn’t drastic, except for the camera (single vs dual) which apparently performs better in low lighting and has some perks i’ll mention below. honestly, the shots are much better on the 8 plus considering it has a really decent background blur feature on inanimate objects + portraits
Google Pixel 8 Pro vs. iPhone 15 Pro Max Speed Test. RAM management on Pixels is so dreadful it's almost funny. If I accidentally leave an app it's 50/50 as to whether or not it stays in memory or if it'll be freshly booted. RAM management is terrible gaming performance is worse and editing videos and so takes longer with the Pixel.
