Mar 23, 2016. #15. The 4.8 is a robust and superb motor. Yes there are problems but tbh they span all the range and are not generally restricted just to the 4.8. Even the 3.0d as well as the others have rear air suspension so issues with pumps and others ancillaries are still common and require sorting.
